The Queen generally declines the chance to attend any funerals of her friends and acquaintances, mostly because she wants to avoid being the center of attention. Instead, she chooses to pay her respects and commemorate their life privately.
However, in 2019, Her Majesty broke her own rule by attending the funeral of former Head Housekeeper, Anette Wilkin. According to inside sources, she and the Queen had a super close relationship, with Her Majesty even giving Anette one of her beloved corgis!
