“Mo” Cheeks enjoyed a lengthy 15-year career, eleven of them with the Philadelphia 76ers. Cheeks was a four time All-Star and was on the NBA All-Defensive First Team four times, and had the honor of his jersey being retired by the Sixers.

He was one of the centerpieces of the greatest Philadelphia team in the franchise’s history, where along with Dr. J and Moses Malone he won a championship in 1983, but also made two other trips to the NBA Finals. When he retired, Mo was the league’s all-time leader in steals and fifth in assists. Today, he’s fifth all-time in steals and eleventh in assists. He was a consistent defensive stopper you would love to have round out your contender.
