Unfortunately, Colin Kaepernick’s talent for football was not as easily recognizable. Although Colin stood tall at a whopping 6’5” as a senior high school student, he only weighed around 170 pounds – significantly lighter than the average football player. Because of this, his high school coaches stopped Colin from running the ball to avoid injury. With his talents quashed and out of the limelight, he struggled to get any football scholarship offers.
