Throughout his time at the University of Nevada, Colin Kaepernick really came into his own. He soon became a leading player within the Wolfpack as a safety – a role he wanted to get out of. Due to the ill health of one of their team members, Colin got his chance. He was asked to step in as quarterback during one game at the end of his freshman year, and after scoring a whopping four touchdowns and throwing 384 yards, he had transformed into a true quarterback.
