It’s easy to tell who your teammate is while playing beach volleyball, regardless of what you’re wearing; It’s the other player on your side of the court. But still, according to beach volleyball rules, the two teams are not allowed to wear the same color and are told to avoid wearing white. The official FIVB rules even suggest that teams have three sets of uniforms, each in a different color, in case they have to choose a different color while facing a specific team. A Control Committee has to approve the uniform color before each match.
