If you’ve ever watched wrestling on TV, you know there is close contact between the competitors, as close as it can possibly get. So it may make sense that female wrestlers are not allowed to wear any bra that has an underwire, at risk of it poking out and poking either one of them. But perhaps an even weirder attire rule is the handkerchief rule: according to the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles, every wrestler has to have a handkerchief on them during the full match (this rule counts for both male and female wrestlers).
