Because of the physical exertion and the physical requirements needed for a professional cheerleader, it’s fair to say that the NFL chooses women who are fairly young. On average, the NFL cheerleader is around 25 years old, but there have been instances where they have taken on women who are much younger and much older.

In 2018, Kriste Lewis, who plays for the Pro Bowl Squad, took the record as the oldest professional NFL cheerleader in the world. She is currently 43 years old and still going strong in the cheerleading world!
