Among the many rules governing cheerleaders’ conduct both on and off the field, there’s no shortage of rules that are just bizarre. One franchise’s rule, for example, explicitly forbade cheerleaders from wearing their uniforms while traveling in a car.
Another stated there was absolutely no entrance to the “back closet in the gym.” Does it contain Jimmy Hoffa’s remains? Possible, but we’ll likely never know. The one we really want to focus on, however, is the one that says cheerleaders have to say “excuse me” after burping, sneezing or coughing. Basic manners, right?
