Christine Baranski spent her early years living in Buffalo, New York. Born into a Polish family, she watched as her father worked as a newspaper editor while listening to her grandparents’ stories of their acting days.
Christine knew that she wanted to follow in their footsteps, and she knew that she wanted all eyes to be on her. She was eventually elected as class president and wowed her classmates with her acting ability. It’s no surprise, then, that she was offered the chance to study at Julliard School of Performing Arts.
