Alice Amter was offered the role of Mrs. Koothrappali in TBBT, and it’s safe to say that she just couldn’t turn this down. While we never get to know her first name or really see her in person, her video chats with Raj are legendary.
Of course, no video chat with her son would be complete without asking him why he’s not found himself a beautiful Indian woman to call his wife. However, Mrs. Koothrappali and her husband aren’t the greatest example of a happy married life, because in 2015 they actually got divorced.
