Within 3 minutes, emergency services were dispatched, at first a team from the fire department, and then an ambulance. They made their way up to the location on Exmoor that Mike had directed them to, eventually finding Jon, May, and the rest of their camping party.
May was immediately taken to hospital for treatment, and thanks to Mike’s quick work and willingness to help, a disaster was averted. May was in fact able to return to the holiday before long.
