It stands for ‘Face’: noticing if one side of a person’s face seems to be drooping or immobile, ‘Arms’: spotting weakness or immobility in a person’s arms or other limbs, ‘Speech’: noticing slurs or mixups in speech, and ‘Time’: making sure to quickly call the emergency services.
