De’Hashia Tonnek (“DeeDee”) Trotter is an American Track & Field athlete and former NCAA champion. She studied at the University of Tennessee under a Track & Field scholarship and there drew the eye of many scouters as she led her team in 400 meter sprints and relays.
Before and leading into the London Games in 2012, she broke several personal records. She won an individual silver in the Games, and led the 400 meter relay team to gold by gaining them a 10 meter lead by the end of her leg.
