For a time, Majors went on self-imposed “exile” to Florida. While there, he confined himself to doing small independent films, and returned to acting in comedies like Weeds and Community. This was just the shot in the arm his career needed, and he got back in the game.
However, those ten years off taught him something else – how much The Six Million Dollar Man had meant to people. Since he was free to travel not just the U.S. but the world, he had people coming up to him from all walks of life just to say hello. “It was very touching and amazing to me,” he revealed.
