Another wrong answer controversy for Million Dollar Money Drop, this one actually resulted in legal action! In a 2010 episode of the show, contestants Andrew and Patricia Murray were asked what the most common password was.
They replied ‘Password,’ but were told the correct answer was ‘123456.’ They did some research and discovered the show’s source was questionable and sued for half a million dollars. There’s no news on whether they won, but it certainly made the producers think harder about their researching process.
