Brett Favre was originally selected to be a defensive blocker on his high school’s football team. During that time in Favre’s career, he would go on to recall that the coach was always a lot harder on him than any one of his other teammates, always pushing Brett to be tougher and work harder than the rest. As it turns out, this was more than likely due to the face that Favre’s high school coach was actually his very own father.
