Largent went overlooked in the 1976 Draft until he was selected in the fourth round by the Houston Oiler, who traded him to the Seahawks prior to the start of his rookie season. Largent would play his entire 14-year career in Seattle, and by the time he retired, he was the owner of many major receiving records.
