The 32 biggest NBA draft busts of all time

[post_page_title]Michael Olowokandi[/post_page_title]
Draft no.: 1st overall
Draft year: 1998
Team: Los Angeles Clippers
Michael Olowokandi, the Kandi Man, had potential, but ended up being a huge bust. He would stay in the NBA for nine seasons, but never averaged more than 12.3 points. Even more, he only averaged double digits twice, in 2001-02 and 2002-03. The list of stud players drafted after him in 1998 is astounding, and includes Vince Carter, Dirk Nowitzki and Paul Pierce.
Olowokandi does have one key moment to be proud of: in 2004, while playing for the Timberwolves, he dunked on Shaq.
