It’s pretty apparent while reading the sandwich thief’s messages that he’s treating the whole thing like it’s a joke. He’s acting like it’s all fun and games, when in reality it really isn’t.
He must have grown up in such a way where he thought it was okay to take other people’s things, and for whatever reason no one taught him that it’s wrong. We all felt that worker’s aggravation while reading their exchange, and it’s clear the thief didn’t understand.
