If the victim ever wanted to see their precious sandwich again, they were going to have to come up with some cash. The sandwich thief might have priced themselves out of getting their ransom though because for $10, the victim could get a pretty amazing sandwich.
If they were willing to part with 10 dollars, then why would they take their sandwich back that had been sitting out of the refrigerator for a while. They could get a freshly made lunch for that price. If the sandwich thief was trying to extort money from the victim, then they were going to have to work much harder. The feud wasn’t over though, in fact, it was just warming up.
