Kevin Johnson was a stud on offense. The longtime Phoenix Suns point guard – and later Sacramento mayor -averaged at least 20 points and 10 plus rebounds for three years, running, and managed to do so already in his sophomore season (during which he averaged 20.4 PPG, 12.2 APG becoming only one of two players to ever average 20, 10 in one of their first two seasons).
That season Johnson, a three-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA selection, was named the Most Improved Player.
