[post_page_title]11. Nate Archibald[/post_page_title]
“Tiny,” as he was known, had something of a misnomer, as he was actually 6’1”. The 14-year NBA veteran and Basketball Hall of Famer had his best season in 1973 with the Kansas City-Omaha Kings, when he averaged a league leading 11.4 assists and 34 points per game – the only time a player led the league in both categories.
He averaged nearly 19 points and 7.5 assists per game over his career, and his speed could be likened to that of John Wall in his prime. He was still a starter towards the end of his career, winning one title with Boston several years before retirement. Archibald is on the cusp of making the top ten, but is just short of accolades to do so.
