[post_page_title]31. Isaiah Thomas[/post_page_title]
Isaiah Thomas holds the distinction of being one of the two players named Isaiah (or Isiah) Thomas to appear on this list, even though this one is ranked far, far below his retired Hall of Famer namesake. The diminutive point guard was off to an inauspicious beginning, as he was selected last in the draft by the Kings, but later proved his detractors wrong by being voted Western Conference Rookie of the Month twice.

He really only later came into his own with the Boston Celtics, leading Beantown to three consecutive playoff appearances – and one Eastern Conference Finals – and making and breaking all kinds of records along the way. He is now with the Lakers, where he’ll attempt to put a nagging hip injury behind him to lead the purple-and-gold back to greatness.
