Although it’s fairly difficult to think of Jim Parsons as a child, it makes us feel much better to know that he donned a bow tie for his high school photo – because that’s a very Sheldon Cooper thing to do! Parsons spent his childhood in Houston, Texas, where he was raised by his teacher parents.
While he always thrived academically, Jim always knew that he wanted to walk a different path to his mom and dad. He wanted to act, so he became an avid member of his school theater club.
