In TBBT, Margo Harshman takes on the role of Alex Jensen. Although Alex may be a super smart physical doctoral student at Caltech, her admiration for Sheldon Cooper soon means that she’s working as Sheldon’s assistant. However, she doesn’t get the chance to work on exciting projects.
Instead, Sheldon makes sure that she is given small and menial jobs that don’t utilize her skills in the slightest. As she continues to work for the quirky physics researcher, she also gets to know Leonard – and she develops quite a crush.
