Although Penny pretends as though she finds the gang annoying, when Alice comes onto the scene we realize that it’s all for show. When Alice, a wannabe actress, moves into the building, Leonard and the gang immediately fall head over heels for her.
They fight for her attention, and they spend more and more time with her. Penny tries to hide her jealousy, but it seems comes out in a fit of rage that leaves her with a black eye. Thankfully, the guys then choose between Alice and Penny – and they choose Penny.
