Although Valerie Azlynn always wanted to act, she struggled with her health when she was just a teenager. At just 13 years old, she underwent life-changing open-heart surgery that would give her a new lease of life – and new motivation to become a successful actress.
After moving from Connecticut to New York City, she enrolled at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and made it her mission to break into the world of show business. It didn’t take long for her big break to come along.
