Just in case you were wondering if even on Airbnb the trouble cuts both ways… it does. Joseph Velardo and his girlfriend Robyn booked a perfect weekend getaway in the beautiful Hamptons area of New York. Their host seemed friendly, if a little odd.
Everything was fine, until they were woken up by a text from him at 3am saying “Do you want to try.” He even showed up in person at one point, intoxicated, and rambled at Joseph for 20 minutes. The couple hightailed it out of there as soon as they could.
