For a little while, Mike was actually unaware of what had happened, having lost contact with Jon once they left the moor. Eventually, however, he managed to track Jon down, who informed him that May had received treatment at the hospital, and was entirely fine.
Needless to say, the entire family was incredibly grateful toward Mike, as without his timely calling for help, the situation could quickly have become much worse. Mike was also glad that May was all right, having seen it as his responsibility to help out.
