Martin is in fourth place on the all-time rushing list, with 14,101 yards. Drafted by the Patriots in the third round of the 1995 NFL Draft, Martin rushed for over 100 yards nine times in his rookie season. By the end of the year, he had accumulated 1,487 yards and 14 touchdowns. Before injuries caused him to retire, he was able to play 11 total seasons in his career. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in his first ten years as a pro. Martin was a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 2011.
