Colts owner Jim Irsay wasn’t kidding when he said quarterback Andrew Luck will get a “shocking” contract back in February 2016. Just a few months later the team rewarded Luck, who had just wrapped up his fourth season in the league. The six-year, $140 million contract made the young star the highest-paid player in the history of the NFL. The deal included $47 million guaranteed. Let’s hope this contract isn’t for naught, and Luck is able to lead the Colts back to the Super Bowl.
