While they’re fun to eat at your next office party, if you see them in department stores around holiday time, don’t be fooled.

The ones that are lined up and stacked in pyramids on the countertops are fake. The balls are made of styrofoam and wrapped in Ferrero Rocher’s signature gold wrapping. So if you reach for one during Christmas, don’t say we didn’t warn you!
