If there was one thing Pelé was really good at when he played soccer, it was scoring goals. He scored 727 goals during his playing career for Brazil and his club teams. He began playing for Brazil in 1957, helping them win three World Cups in 1958, 1962, and 1970. Pelé is the only player to have ever won three World Cups, so is a history maker. He is internationally recognized by many as the face of soccer and is attributed with the phrase “The Beautiful Game” in regards to soccer.
