It wasn’t the end of the road for Lorenzen’s football career though, and he would find hope in a former team. He returned to the Northern Kentucky River Monsters in December 2013.
The River Monsters were now playing in the Continental Indoor Football League themselves, and Lorenzen was glad to be back playing. At this point in his life, Lorenzen was struggling a lot with his weight, but that didn’t stop him from playing at the highest level he could.
