Peggy Fleming dominated the world of figure skating back in the 1960s. The recognition was all thanks to the skater’s dedication, unique style, and impressive moves as she glided around the ice. Peggy won the World Championships no less than three times, in addition to competing in the 1968 Olympics. She was able to blow the competition away as she walked home with the Olympic gold for her routine. Years later in 1983, a stamp was made in honor of the skater.
