Nancy Kerrigan is one of the most famous figure skaters of her time. She earned herself two bronze medals from the 1991 World Championships and 1992 Winter Olympics, in addition to winning two silvers at the 1992 World Championships and 1994 Winter Olympics. It was Nancy’s talent that reportedly saw her the subject of attack: during 1994, her rival, Tonya Harding, allegedly had her husband hire a person to “take care of” the competition. Thankfully Nancy was able to recover enough to win her third Olympic Silver that same year.
