One Airbnb host named Troy Dayton made his horror story public. As he found out all too late, he had rented out his place to people with substance abuse problems. When he returned there after they’d left, he found the home a complete wreck.
It was littered with various illegal substance paraphernalia, and someone punched holes into his closet. The cherry on top of that sundae, though, was that there were ax marks on his bathroom door. Actual ax slash marks, like in The Shining’s most famous scene.
