Brendan Shanahan has won the Cup, an Olympic gold and a World championship. The winger’s 21-season NHL career passed through five different teams: New Jersey, St. Louis, Hartford, Detroit and New York. He won three Stanley Cup rings while with the Red Wings, in 1997, 1998 and 2002 and was known for getting into fights on the ice (he has 17 “Gordie Howe hat tricks,” games with a goal, an assist and a fight). Shanahan recorded 656 goals in 1,524 games played throughout his career, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
