Bossy would retire after just ten seasons in the NHL due to a chronic back injury. But in that time Bossy scored 573 goals, tallied 553 assists, won four Stanley Cup championships, three Lady Byng Trophies and in 1980-81 Bossy scored 50 goals in 50 games.
