Mike Bossy was known for his speed, both with his skates and with his hands. He was one of the most dangerous players of his era, though it was a short era due to injury. Bossy would retire after just ten seasons in the NHL due to a chronic back injury. But in that time Bossy scored 573 goals, tallied 553 assists, won four Stanley Cup championships, three Lady Byng Trophies and in 1980-81 Bossy scored 50 goals in 50 games. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991.
