Phil Esposito was a force to be reckoned with in the slot. The 6’1 center was known as one of the most prolific goal scorers of his era, setting records that Wayne Gretzky would later break. Throughout his 18-season career, Esposito scored 717 goals, tallied 873 assists, with 1,590 points overall. He is still ranked sixth on the all-time goal leaders list and tenth on the all-time points leaders list. He won two Stanley Cup championships, five Art Ross Trophy awards, two Hart Trophies and two Pearson Awards.
