After just several seasons in the league, and a second All Star Appearance, DeMar Derozan was given the royal treatment by the Toronto Raptors. The team signed the guard to a five-year, $139 million contract, which at the time made him one of the top-paid guys in the league. So far, he’s living up to his contract. In 2016-17 Derozan averaged 27.2 PPG, 2.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds and helped lead the Raptors to the Eastern Conference Semifinals (but were swept by the Cavaliers).
