This giant silverback gorilla stopped traffic for an incredible reason

After a few moments it became clear what Chimanuka had been waiting for, the rest of his family to join him in the road. As he stood there tense and nervous, Chimanuka’s family began filing past him.

One by one they were crossing the road, all while Chimanuka stood guard in case any traffic decided it was going to try and hurt his relatives. Chimanuka can’t have been the only one feeling tense, as the bystanders were now potentially as close to gorillas than they’d ever been before.
