This giant silverback gorilla stopped traffic for an incredible reason

As the filmmaker was getting a great shot of the silverback, the gorilla was getting a great view itself.

From the vantage point of the bushes, the gorilla was able to assess the flow of traffic and figure out whether it was safe to cross or not. The more it sat in the bushes the more the gorilla learned about the pattern of the traffic. Sitting in the bush watching the traffic for twenty minutes, the gorilla had made its mind up, it was time to cross the road.
