Year: 2001
Team: St. Louis Cardinals
Albert Pujols is an offensive machine to say the least. During his rookie year in 2001, Pujols, then with the St. Louis Cardinals, hit .329/.403/.610 with 194 hits, 113 runs and 130 runs batted in ad 7.7 WAR (numbers that are very similar to another guy on this list: Ted Williams). His 130 RBI was a new record for rookies. Even more than that, Pujols hit 37 home runs and 47 doubles and won his first Silver Slugger Award.
