Troy Tulowitzki is an “honorable mention” since he wasn’t voted Rookie of the Year (because of the guy above him), but he definitely had a season to remember. In 2007, Tulo hit .291/.359/.479 with 177 hits, 104 runs and 99 runs batted in and 6.8 WAR. Tulowitzki is credited with helping the Rockies get to their first World Series appearance during his rookie season, but unfortunately, they were swept by the Red Sox.
