Emily rose to fame back in 2006 when she was one of the few chosen to compete on the U.S. team at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Italy. The following year the skater was able to take home silver from the 2007 National Competition, but things soon took a nosedive. An ankle injury put Emily out of action. Determined to make it still, Emily tried out for the team heading to the 2010 Winter Olympics. Sadly Emily needed to place first or second and only managed to come 9th.
