Zoo enraged by ‘disrespect’ of visitors who scratched names into a rhino’s back

The zoo claims that by allowing their visitors to touch the rhinos, they can appreciate “the diversity and beauty of nature.” The rhinos could be dangerous if a guest were to get in the enclosure with them, but the zoo has deemed it safe to touch them through the fence. Typically the guests respect the rhinos and do appreciate them, but there is no accounting for everyone. Zookeepers might have thought no one would want to harm their animals, but that was before two visitors named Camille and Julien arrived.
