Parton believes that it is their share of finding humor in life and keeping things light and stress-free that has kept their marriage strong despite the challenges that they have faced in the past. “Even if we get angry with each other, we have never said anything that we would regret if one of us died,” she said. “We usually laugh our way out of it.”
The singer said that it is his ability to laugh and make her laugh that she deeply loves about him, “He makes me laugh and entertains me. He’s very secure within himself,” she said.
