This giant silverback gorilla stopped traffic for an incredible reason

It is an understandable thought to believe that a huge mass of muscle with a potentially violent temperament was dangerous. Buchanan had to be sure he was safe to continue as the gorilla began to edge out from behind the bushes.

Not far from Chimanuka, Buchanan chose to remain in place and just kept filming, hoping the silverback would ignore him. Understanding the gorilla’s mentality was important, otherwise Buchanan could have ended up in some serious danger if he wasn’t careful enough.
