Schumacher holds the record for the highest number of World Championship wins in the world. In 2006 he retired, although briefly came back to the sport from 2010-2012, racing for Mercedes. Unfortunately, in 2013 Schumacher was in a skiing accident and had to be put in a medically induced coma due to a brain injury. While he is now stable, he is paralysed and has difficulties with his memory and speech. His family have said that he continues to get stronger, however.
